WHO WE ARE
Forest and Rivers Open Studios, farOpen, first established in 1995, is a collective of diverse and talented artists who work, sell, exhibit and run art workshops in the Forest of Dean, and along the Wye & Severn Rivers.
As a volunteer led, not for profit organisation, our purpose is to support our talented members by raising their profile. That is why farOpen organises the annual farOpen Art Trail, providing a unique opportunity to visit artists in their studios and explore how they work. Through farOpenExhibits we also host group exhibitions throughout the year at various galleries to showcase our artists and sell their work.
We are the one-stop resource to find must-see artists and art events in the region!
