Bews Gorvin Sculpture for Public Sites

Philip Bews and Diane Gorvin moved to Forest of Dean twenty-three years ago.
We make sculpture for the public realm, collaborating on a wide range of commissions, throughout the UK and internationally. Experienced in liaising with clients, public,architects, structural engineers, fabricators and landscape architects.
We have designed, made and installed over a hundred and thirty site-specific, sculptural works in a variety of environments, for both urban and rural contexts; permanent public artworks in Canada and Spain; designed sculptures made in China for two Chinese cities; and created Fire Sculptures in the USA, Australia, Austria, France and Sweden.
Phil’s previous landscape background enables him to prepare detailed technical drawings for fabricators, and to design for the environs of the artwork site. Diane also creates websites for the community aspects of our projects. Weaim to create a special sense of place, frequently incorporating useful elements - such as seating or lighting.
