Di Weissberg Printed Up
I am a producer of hand-made, funky up-cycled clothing and accessories. Using screen printing and recycled fabrics I create colourful and creative designs, all produced in my own home.
Originally trained in Textile design I spent my early years making and selling silk clothes and accessories in a variety of craft outlets throughout the country including Covent Garden Jubilee Market. Later I travelled to South East Asia and inspired by the fantastic batik cloth available, produced a range of children’s clothing. I balanced these creative ventures with teaching in both adult and mainstream education.
Having always been drawn to colour and pattern I have been able to explore screen printing techniques, layering my designs and taking inspiration from nature and my regular visits to Cornwall. All items are unique and spontaneously Printed Up on a combination of new and recycled fabrics.
