Elizabeth Heather Engel

​Up-cycling is at the heart of my practice and I'm in my element with scraps of fabric, ribbons, buttons, beads and found objects, both natural and man-made. I create many items including childrens aprons, bags, needlecases, pictures and soft sculptures eg unicorns, dragons and hares. My creations are often decorated with hand embroidery.

I am a member of Wye Valley Stitchers.
My work sells through The Secret Gallery Newent and by commission eg banners for GRASAC.
