Fused in the Forest - Nicola Pettiford
I have lived in the beautiful Forest of Dean all of my life, and try to replicate it's colours and beauty in the fused glass pieces that I create. I enjoy all things miniature - so many of my pieces are small, but beautifully formed! I love colour and I have fallen in love with the way light makes the glass come alive.
All of my pieces are hand cut and kiln-fired at home. I am a keen 'up-cycler' and many of my pieces are made to fit pre-loved frames that I find on my travels! I love to take something that has been discarded and give it a new lease of life by adding a beautiful piece of glass to it.
