Leigh Sladen Glass

Leigh has been working with glass for nearly ten years and finds that she is constantly drawn to the colours, calm and tranquility of the Isles of Scilly as inspiration for her work. She loves to explore with texture, inclusions, copper, engravings and painting on glass.
Each piece of work is individual and may be returned to the kiln many times to create the desired outcome. Recent exhibitions include Mythos at the Sanctuary Gallery and Studio, Rivers and Seas at The Secret Gallery , The Malvern Show as a guest of The Cotswold Guild, and coming up this Summer is an exhibition at the Take4 Gallery in Ledbury.
Leigh has been lucky enough for her work to be included during the filming of George Clarke s Amazing Spaces in Tim and Gemma s wonderful building created on the banks of The River Severn.
Leigh hopes that you will join her to find out about the range of fused glass courses and workshops that she runs from the beautiful Forest of Dean and to see an exhibition of her work.
