Of all the stitching and textile art that I've done over the past 20 years embroidery appeals to me the most. I've tried machine embroidery, both computerised and free motion, surface embroidery and silk ribbon embroidery. Currently silk ribbon embroidery is my favourite.

After learning a range of embroidery skills with a level 3 City & Guilds Embroidery course I've moved on to creating my own designs. I'm developing wild flower kits with the aim of introducing beginners to these enjoyable skills.

But this isn't all I do because there is so much more to Textile Art. Lovely fabrics and the excitement of trying something new have drawn me into making crazy quilted bags, Suffolk Puff cushions and machine embroidered wall hangings.

 enjoy showing others the methods I've learned and I love finding new skills to learn myself. Both soothing and stimulating at different times I love what I do and hope that you might enjoy seeing and sharing some of the results.
