I am an artist and art teacher working mainly with watercolour, pen and wash and acrylics. Whilst I do individual paintings, I love working in sketchbooks in pen and wash with a sketchy, bright style using both permanent and non-waterproof inks and have completed several sketchbooks, mainly of old buildings both in the UK and Europe.
During Covid I concentrated on creating pen & wash sketches combined with a short story. These are based on single themes –and the first two have been published on Amazon entitled - ‘Shameless Shoes’ and ‘Desperate Doorways’ and others are on the way.
I love painting ‘en plein air’, again usually in sketchbooks, in and around the Forest of Dean or on holiday and I also give demonstrations to art groups using watercolour and pen & wash.
