Sandrina Gay
Sandrina takes most of her inspiration from nature. She collects pieces of gnarled wood to which she attaches worked copper to create functional bowls and garden sculptures. Sandrina applies her love of working with fire by using an 18th Century Japanese technique called “Shou-sugi-ban”, this blackens and scores the wood, preserving it and repelling insects.
