Urchins Gallery was established in April 2023 by Tara Slater of TLS Kiwi and Julie Sullivan of Watercolour Puddles to showcase their work and create a space for FarOpen members and artisan makers to have an opportunity to sell and exhibit their work.
Tara is a print maker and mixed media artist and Julie is a watercolour and mixed media artist. Please see their individual members pages for full details of their work.
Urchins is pleased to have the work from many FarOpen members, ranging from potters, ceramists, glass workers to enamelists and aim to be a supportive and affordable place for local creatives to sell. Exhibitions are held monthly (excluding art trail weeks). Julie and Tara are joined by Alison Powell, Alli Board (Creativity Art), Alli Mair (Iris and Henry), Amanda Timms (Dawsons Pottery), Derek A Lamb, Jen (Allagog), Jo Randall (Mosaics by Jo), Jo Sterrick, Katie Sanderson, Kerry Bennet (Simply Serendipity), Moi Nally, Shanna Ludwig (Harebell and Bee), Vanessa Burley (Neski Ceramics), Yvonne Tustain
Urchins Gallery is open everyday of the art trail where you will be able to see works in progress by Tara and Julie, chat about their work or that of their makers.
