Wooden Heart Designs - Vikki Gibson

Hello my name is Vikki. I am a mixed media artist. I first began selling my art work part time but turned my hobby into a career when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. I turned to my love of art as a form of therapy just to get me through the days. I then started selling my work at local craft markets and shops. This was a hugely challenging time in my life but thankfully I was able to make a positive change because of my experiences. I now run my business full time working from an upstairs studio in my home over looking the River Severn. I also work on my kitchen table, actually pretty much the whole house plus a work shop and a shed.

Nature is amazing and a huge inspiration to my work. I also adore all things vintage and retro especially from the 1940's and 50's this fascination began from rummaging through my Nanna's bits, bobs and buttons drawer. My personal style is rockabilly.

I am passionate about everything I make and pay close attention to every detail making each piece unique.

I feel blessed to make a living doing what I love. And like to make every day count and add a little sparkle and magic to my work to brighten each day. If you have any questions or requests please feel free to contact me.
