My work is inspired by the rich biodiversity in my garden as well as the marine life in our coastal waters. Insects particularly fascinate me; complex creatures with an intricate relationship to other creatures and our shared world.
The print process I use is low tech and uses eco-friendly material mainly Intaglio paper card and water based inks. The simple process gives an intense ink saturation, highlighting the graphic contrasts of these beautiful creatures.
