Alison Tutton Robins
I am a designer, photographer and artist. I am interested in how we see the world. My practice is rooted in deconstruction and reconstruction, light, and ways of seeing. I use photography as a starting point in my work, to explore all that is around me. My established career as a Graphic Designer and Art Director in London Publishing Houses and the Music Industry, helps to inform my work and compositions, often using old design processes combined with the new, and drawing on life experiences. Having recently relocated to this beautiful place, I am now exploring photography and encaustic mediums as I look to explore my own practice further.
Why The Sea Shed ? I love the sea and am at my happiest by it, it’s where I think. I work in a shed, mostly, now surrounded by beautiful woods, not by the sea. But The Sea Shed Studio is where I gather and explore creative ideas, it’s no one place.
