Hello, I'm Jane and I have a textile business called Sew__Exciting. My main focus is using the Cyanotype printing process onto natural fabrics. I use natural forms found in my local area around Drybrook, pictures of my local area and painting techniques to create useful and unique items. These will be on sale during farOpen as well as other local exhibitions.
I have worked with textiles all my life, having trained as a handcraft Tailor and worked in prestigious Tailoring companies such as Aquascutum of Regent Street. I was also Assistant Designer for Merrythought of Ironbridge, who made and designed soft toys.
Along with my printing, I also do alterations on clothing and soft furnishings and commissions.
