Who we are

farOpen is a collective of diverse and talented artists who work, sell, exhibit and run art workshops in the Forest of Dean and along the Wye & Severn Rivers region in Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and Herefordshire.

farOpen organises the annual farOpen Art Trail providing a unique opportunity to visit artists in their studios and explore how they work.  farOpen also hosts group exhibitions throughout the year at various galleries to showcase our artists and sell their work.

As a volunteer led, not for profit organisation, our purpose is to support our talented members by raising the profile of our artists and their work though promotion and group exhibits thus enabling artists to sell their work to a wider audience.

We are the one-stop resource to find must-see artists and art events in the region!
